How To Wash A Cheer Uniform?

Cleaning a cheer uniforms requires special care to preserve their colour, fabric and overall quality. Below is a general guide on how to clean a cheerleading uniforms:

Before Washing

Please read the care label on your uniform for specific instructions. It will provide information on recommended water temperature, detergent and any special care instructions. If there are any stains, pre-treat them before washing. Use a stain remover or neutral detergent to clean the stain. If your ula all star cheer uniforms are very ornate, turn them inside out. Avoid the crystals fall out. Most importantly, zipper it up to prevent the zipper from snagging on other fabrics!

Washing Cheer Uniform

  • Colour Separation: Wash light and dark coloured uniforms separately to avoid colour bleeding.
  • Turn the uniform inside out: Turn the uniform inside out before washing. This helps to protect any logos, decorations or prints from rubbing and fading.
  • Use cold water: Wash in cold water to prevent colour fading and protect delicate fabrics.
  • Gentle cycle: Use the gentle cycle in the washing machine. The agitation of a regular washing machine may be too strong for delicate fabrics.
  • Mild detergent: Use a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals that can damage fabrics or fade colours.

Please note, avoid using fabric softener during this process. The chemicals will make the clothes lose their elasticity.

Drying Them

    Air-dry the cheer uniforms as much as possible. Hanging them or laying them flat can help them retain their shape and prevent shrinkage. Of course, a dryer will make clothes dry faster. If necessary, use the lowest temperature setting; overheating can damage elastic and synthetic fabrics. Remember to remove uniforms from the dryer promptly to prevent wrinkling and shrinkage.
